Melissa and her partner Theresa Lacek make up the #1 doubles team for badminton. The two seniors, who are currently 15-1 on the season, captured first place at the Sandburg Invitational last Friday. They beat the previously undefeated Sandburg doubles team in the finals to win the tourney. The honor roll students were state qualifiers last year and are looking to repeat this season.
