Flood to join baseball staff

The Reavis athletic department is pleased to announce the hiring of Ryan Flood to the baseball staff.  Flood, a 2001 graduate of Reavis, played football, basketball, and baseball for the Rams.  He had a great high school baseball career that included two conference championships and all-conference honors in 2001.

The Burbank native then attended Benedictine University in Lisle, where he majored in math-education and lettered in baseball for four years.  After graduation, Ryan taught math at Oak Lawn for two years.  In 2008, Flood came back to his alma mater, where he currently teaches math and coaches freshman boys’ basketball.  In terms of baseball this spring, Flood will be working with fellow math teacher Erik Scheiner at the freshman level.
