Berwyn, IL (March 18, 2011) - The Rams (2-0) scored seven runs in the final two innings to come from behind and beat the Morton Mustangs today 9-6. Trailing 3-2 in the sixth inning, Reavis tallied two runs on RBI's from Cameron Koepke and David Beltran. In the bottom of the frame, Morton answered with a run to tie the score.
The Rams' five run seventh proved too much for the Mustangs to overcome, however. Matt Javorski, Mike Falbo, and Rob Rabakozi each had a big hit in the rally.
Brandon Hines picked up the victory in relief, throwing 1.2 innings and allowing two earned runs on three hits. Starting Pitcher Zack Mackowiak, who received a no-decision, allowed only one earned run on six hits over 5.1 innings of work.
