Rams running on all cylinders in win over EP

Burbank, IL (May 10, 2011) - Reavis improved its conference record to 10-5 with a good all-around performance in its 10-0 victory over Evergreen Park this afternoon.  The offense pounded out 12 hits, the defense played flawlessly, and Rob Rabakozi dominated on the mound.

"We played really well in all three facets of the game," said Coach Erickson.  "This was one of the best efforts I&;ve seen from our kids this year.   Hopefully, we are peaking at the right time."

In his first start as a pitcher this year, Rabakozi looked very impressive.  The senior allowed only four hits and struck out seven Mustangs in the complete game shut-out.

Offensively, the Rams were led by Brandon Hines (2 for 2; 2 2B; 3 RBI), Mike Falbo (2 for 3; 2B; RBI), Rabakozi (2 for 2; 2B; RBI), Matt Javorski (2 for 3; 2 R), Jake Stano (2B; RBI), and Alex Morales (1 for 3; 2 RBI).

With Richards&; loss to Shepard today, the Rams move to a half game out of first place in the SSC Red.
