Burbank, IL (March 22, 2012) - In its annual cross-town rivals game, Reavis lost to St. Laurence 11-7 Thursday at Czarnecki Field. The Vikings scored early and never relinquished the lead. The closest the Rams got is when they cut the Laurence lead to 7-4 in the fifth inning.
Josh Arnold (1-1), who picked up his first loss of the season, pitched four innings, allowing three earned runs on eight hits.
Offensively, Matt Javorski (3 for 4; RBI) was a bright spot for Reavis. The senior right-fielder has three staight games in which he has collected multiple hits.
The Rams' next game is Monday against Lyons Township.
