Czarnecki Field Named One of Ten Best Illinois High School Baseball Stadiums

Burbank, IL (March 29, 2012) - The Reavis baseball field was recently named one of the top ten complexes in the state by the magazine Prep Baseball Report. 

The  The following is an excerpt from the article by Drake Skleba: 

"Throughout the year there is The Best list of almost every conceivable subject.  The ten best books, movies, situational comedies, dog food, etc.  You get the idea.  Well now it&;s time for my ten best high school baseball stadiums.

"The following ten schools are, in my opinion, the best places to watch Illinois high school baseball in 2012.

"10. Reavis (Ron Czarnecki Field) - The home of the Sluggin&; Rams in Burbank is a small but unique baseball facility.  The field is top-notch and staduim chair seating in the name of the game at Reavis.  A large scoreboard and a small but adequate press box is available.  Adjacent to Hanke Stadium, home of the football team, and with the Clearing House Industrial District to the north, Reavis&; ballpark has a unique feel to it.

The Reavis grounds crew that meticulously maintains Czarnecki Field is headed by Michael Hock and includes Dan Czajkowski, Chris Stacy, and Steve Kelly.  A major reason Reavis made this pretigious list is due to the dedication of Hock and his crew.
