Burbank, IL (April 4, 2012) - The Reavis baseball coaching staff hosted their annual little league coaches' clinic Wednesday evening. Over 25 coaches attended the clinic held at Czarnecki Field after the varsity team's practice.
The goal of the clinic was to show the coaches what the Rams do in a typical practice. After watching the end of batting practice, attendees were shown several defensive drills performed by Reavis varsity players. Next, a trio of Ram coaches spoke on various aspects of the game. Bob Morack discussed practical catching drills the coaches could use with their young players, Dick Canan provided instruction on the fundamentals of a proper swing, and Erik Scheiner finished up with tips to help teach young pitchers' proper throwing mechanics.
