Reavis drops first game in Memphis

Memphis, TN (April 12, 2012) - Bartlett High School, TN beat the Rams 4-1 in the opening game of the Memphis Baseball Tournament on Thursday evening .  Reavis (5-10) fell behind 2-0 in the third inning when senior right-hander Anthony Doory allowed back-to-back triples to Chapman and Chivito, followed by an RBI single from Elliot. 
The Rams threatened in the top of the fifth inning when they loaded the bases on two walks and an infield hit by Tom Pindelski.  However, they were only able to plate one run on Mike Lally&;s sacrifice fly.

In junior varsity action, Reavis lost 2-1 to Bartlett.  Junior John Deir collected two hits and stole two bases in the loss.

Friday, the Rams will take on Munford High School.  Junior varsity action will begin at 4:30, followed by the varsity contest at 7:00.
