Burbank, IL (May 3, 2012) - The Rams completed a sweep of Oak Lawn with a 4-3 victory Thursday at Czarnecki Field.
The game was a continuation from Tuesday's contest that was rained out after one inning of play with Reavis holding a 2-0 lead. Oak Lawn tied the score in the top of the second on back-to-back doubles from Kametas and Marek, followed by an RBI single from Smith. The Rams regained the lead for good, though, in the third frame when David Beltran scored on an error and Jake Stano came home on a sacrifice fly off the bat of Dan Meskill.
Anthony Doory picked up his third win of the season, going the distance and striking out six Spartans.
The Rams play Hillcrest Friday at Czarnecki Field.
