Rams Rout Hanahan in South Carolina

Charleston, SC (April 3, 2013) - Reavis hitters pounded out 10 hits in their 14-4 six-inning win over tournament host Hanahan Hawks on Wednesday.    Mike Lally, John Deir, and Trevor Kasprowicz each had multi-hit games, and Matt Barajas added four RBI on the day.

"We played our best baseball of the year so far today," said Coach Erickson. "We struggled offensively early in the tournament, but our bats certainly woke up today.  We squared up a lot of pitches and hit many line drives."

Junior pitcher Jordan Rhodes picked up his first Varsity win, going 4.2 innings and allowing four runs on four hits.  "Jordan threw a lot of strikes for his first outing," said Coach Morack.  "The Hanahan hitters had a hard time figuring him out."

The Rams (5-3), who went 2-1 in the tournament, will be heading home early due to inclement weather.  They plan to visit the Louisville Slugger museum on Thursday and should arrive back in Burbank on Friday.

they open conference play against Oak Lawn on Monday.
