(March 23, 2016) - The Reavis baseball program would like to congratulate senior Kevin McDonald for earning the Chick Evans Golf Caddie Scholarship. McDonald, who caddies at Edgewood Valley Country Club in LaGrange, will receive full tuition and board at Purdue University for the next four years.
"Purdue was definitely one of my top choices and I'm so excited to be going there next fall," said McDonald. "The process of applying for the scholarship was very long and difficult, but it was totally worth it."
"I can't think of anyone more deserving of a scholarship like this than Kevin," said baseball coach Don Erickson. "He is so hard-working and dedicated; he has also gotten so much out of his education here at Reavis. Besides being an honors student, he is a three-sport letter winner (baseball, wrestling, and golf) and an award-winning artist."
McDonald plans on studying engineering at Purdue.
