Rams score late, beat Ike

Burbank, IL

With the scored tried 7-7, the Rams (3-8; 2-0) scored six runs in the top of the seventh inning to beat Eisenhower 13-7 yesterday afternoon.  The rally was started by Kevin McDonald, who doubled to lead off the inning.  Anthony Wojchiechowski followed with a bunt single and McDonald scored on the throwing error by the Cardinals' catcher.  "It was great to see two guys who don't get a chance to play everyday come up big for us in that situation," said Coach Erickson.

Reavis's offense supplied 16 hits in the game, led by Alex Buentello (3 for 5; 2 RBI; 2 SB), Jay Maturell (2 for 5; 2B; 3 RBI), and Wojciechowski (3 for 5; 2 RBI; 2 SB).  The Rams take on TF North today at Czarnecki Field.

Relief pitcher Peter Madritsch picked up his first victory of the season on the mound.
