Burbank, IL (November 23, 2010) - The Rams won their season-opener against the Kennedy Crusaders 72-36 tonight in the first round of the Reavis Thanksgiving Tournament. Senior Mike Jerkovich scored 13 first-half points and finished the game with a team-high 17. Eddie Lopez (11 points) and Matt Johnson (9 points) added to the Reavis balanced attack.
In the afternoon game, Addison Trail beat Little Village 72-65. Little Village's Darrell Townes scored 16 and Armin Trgo of Addison Trail led all scorers with 35. Tomorrow's match-ups pit Addison Trail against Kennedy at 5:30 and Reavis vs. Little Village at 7:00
