Burbank, IL (November 24, 2010) - The Reavis boys' basketball team (2-0) advanced to the finals of their Thanksgiving Tournament with a convincing 61-36 victory over Little Village tonight. After a sluggish start, the Rams built a 25 point lead in the second quarter and never looked back. For the second consecutive night senior center Mike Jerkovich led the Ram attack with 23 points. Raynard Carltan scored 8 points for Little Village.
In the first game of the semi-finals, Addison Trail (2-0) dropped Kennedy 65-31. James Pupillo led the Blazers with 13 points, and Armin Trgo, who scored a tournament-high 35 on Tuesday, chipped in 11 today. Kennedy's Damian Surma led the Crusaders with 8 points.
Addison Trail will meet Reavis in the championship game on Friday at 6:00. Little Village will play Kennedy for third place at 4:30.
