Burbank, IL (January 5, 2011) - Mike Jerkovich has been named the SouthtownStar Newspaper Boys Basketball Player of the Week. Last week Jerkovich helped the 10-4 Rams win 3 out of 4 games and place third in the 16-team Lemont Christmas Classic. Mike averaged 15 points and 12 rebounds in that stretch of games that included wins over Leyden, Romeoville, and Providence.
