Burbank, IL (December 21, 2012)- With leading scorer Nick Bal on the bench in foul trouble, and a red-hot 7-1 opponent shooting lights-out, the Rams weathered the storm and picked up their 7th win of the season 54-46 over Montini. In Bal's two-quarter absence, Eddie Puha (27 points) stepped up to carry the offensive load while Jorge Martinez, Joe O'Hara, and Yaseen Ghouleh played great defense to keep Reavis in the game. Bal entered the game with 4 minutes left and the Rams trailing by 4, and proceeded to score 13 points and grab 4 rebounds down the stretch. The Rams (7-3) open the Romeoville Christmas Classic at noon on 12/26 versus Urban Prep Bronzeville.
