The Varsity Rams (1-0) were ready to go in their home opener, beating the Kennedy Crusaders 55-21.
“The girls came out ready to play. To tell you the truth I think they were ready to play someone besides themselves. It was a great team effort tonight” said Coach Miskowicz after the win.
Team effort is right as ten of the eleven Rams put points on the board. Leading scorer, Amanda Raschke, poured in 19 points and grabbed 10 rebounds while teammate Jenny LoRusso chipped in 7 points, dished out 3 assists, and nabbed 5 steals.
The Sophomore Rams (1-0) also came out victorious over the Crusaders. Melissa Johnson led all scorers with 16 points.
