Oak Lawn, IL (November 18, 2010) - The Varsity Rams (1-1) traveled down Central Ave. to Richards High School for the 1st Annual Bobby Bolton Basketball Classic to face the Wildcats from Thornton.
Reavis came ready to play and was up 23-19 at the half. The 3rd quarter proved to be the turning point, Thornton took the lead and did not look back. Reavis kept at it, and got to within 4 with 1:38 left on the clock, but in the end it was not enough and suffered a 40-51 loss to the Wildcats.
Coach Miskowicz said, "the Ram Pride was there, it just has to get us through ALL four quarters."
Jenny LoRusso scored a team high 17 points and had 4 steals, while teammate Amanda Raschke added 10 points and grabbed 8 rebounds.
