Oak Lawn, IL (November 19, 2010) -
The Rams (2-1) continued their winning ways with a 48-28 victory over the Chicago Agriculture Cyclones at the 1st Annual Bobby Bolton Basketball Classic at Richards High School. With a sluggish start, the Rams were only up by 8 at the half. They really turned it on late, holding the Cyclones to only 6 points in the 4th quarter while scoring 16.
"The intensity really showed in the second half. We took it one defensive stop at a time," said Coach Miskowicz.
Joanna Sochacka had a great game in the post and led the Rams with 16 points and 7 rebounds. While teammate Jenny LoRusso added 10 points, 2 steals, and 4 assists. Six other Rams also contributed to the scoring column.
The Freshmen started their season off today with a game against Oak Lawn. The A team (0-1) lost, but the B team (1-0) picked up a win.
