Rams Honor Seniors

Burbank, IL ( February 10, 2011) -

The Reavis Rams played their last home game of the 2010-2011 season on Thursday night.  The program honored its eight seniors for all their hard work and dedication.  Below you will find what each senior remembers and what they will miss the most about Reavis Basketball.

Manager Ashlee Boyer has been with the program for two years, one as a player and another as a manager.  Her best basketball memory is “whenever we won, everyone was happy, I like when the team was happy.”  She will miss “all the weird stuff this team does, it is awesome.”
 
 
Manager Rachael Emanuelson has been with the program for fours years, two as a player and another two as a manager.  Her best basketball memory is “the overnight trip over the summer.”  She will miss “all of our crazy jokes and roadtrips.”
 
Jenny LoRusso has been with the program for four years, three as a Varsity player.  Her best basketball memory is “the pregame team discussions and making fun of Liz and Caillou.”  She will miss “everyone and how close we all area to each other…but I will miss Caillou the most.”
 
Ali McCafferty has been with the program for four years, three as a Varsity player.  Her best basketball memory is “opera singing the song Low with Natatlie and also when Jo had a bad day.”  She will miss “ending on a good note and Caillou, my best friend.”
 
Amanda Raschke has been with the program for four years, three as a Varsity player.  Her best basketball memory is “when Coach M had her first bad day.”  She will miss “all of her teammates, the game of basketball, and calling this my home court.”
 
Jo Sochacka has been with the program for four years, three as a Varsity player.  Her best basketball memory is “when Liz got a technical.”  She will miss “all of her teammates and coaches and playing the game with them.”
 
Liz Weiler has been with the program for four years, two as a Varsity player.  Her best basketball memory is “when Jo tackled her to the floor during 11-man and coach M ran over freaking out.  It was so funny because she wasn’t even hurt.”  She will miss “my teammates the most, I have been some of these girls for six years and can’t imagine not coming back next year.  These girls are like family and I love them so much.”
 
Nat Wojtowicz has been with the program for four years, two as a Varsity player.  Her best basketball memory is “the game vs Queen of Peace when she accidentally knocked a girl over, but not to worry she helped her up.”  She will miss “her teammates the most and the bond that we share.  We lost together, win together, and ‘herd’ together.”
