The Reavis Varsity Rams begun summer league play on Thursday afternoon at Shepard H.S. The first game was played against SSC Conference opponent, Eisenhower. The girls were excited and ready to play. They held the lead for most of the game, but started to run out of gas letting the Cardinals tie the game with 3 seconds left. The Rams looked to go long, but missed the pass that would have led to a layup.
In OT, both teams battled and senior Hannah Howard nailed a jumper in the lane to put the Rams in the lead for good.
"Just an all-around great team effort. The girls played together for the first time this summer and it took a while to get going. I liked the effort and am ready for more" said Coach Miskowicz.
Reminder high school camp starts on Monday, June 6th at 10:15 in the North Gym for sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Go RAMS!
