Reavis (5-9, 1-3) finished up the Riverside-Brookfield Invite playing for 3rd Place, but came up short against McHenry, 45-59. The Rams were 1-2 in Pool Play, but won the three-way tie against Argo and Lane Tech with their free-throw percentage putting them into the 3rd place game against McHenry.
The Rams took on a strong-shooting Warrior team and several Reavis players scored big, but it just wasn't enough. Leading the way were Yasmine Ballout (12 points, 6 steals) and Donna Mierwa (12 points, 4 rebounds), followed by Chanel Koepke (9 points,4 assists) and Stephanie Verduzco (8 points, 6 rebounds).
"McHenry was definitely on tonight, and they had great post-play. We could not stop their shooters" said Coach Miskowicz of the loss.
