The Varsity Rams (1-0) won their opening match of the season against Burbank rival St. Laurence 2819 - 2752. The Rams were lead by senior, Tom Kuba Jr's 744 series, which included a 278, 242, and a 224. MIke Johnson was able to shake off a tough first game and bounced back with a 243 in a crucial third game. Senior, Steve Frencl, added a 210 and junior, Steven Cole, a 196. The Rams begin their conference schedule today at El Mar Bowl against Eisenhower.
