Palos Heights, IL (August 28, 2012) - The girls came out swinging as they beat BOTH Evergreen Park and Oak Lawn at Conkey Woods last night. More importantly, they beat Evergreen Park by only 1 point. Total team effort. Senior Nicole Maier took control of the meet by placing first overall. Michele "Gaga" Lewellen (2nd), Sabina Bukowska (9th), Stephanie Majewski (10th), and Angelina Duda (11th) were our top scorers, while Caroline Cyrwus (13th) and Katie Zimmerman(14th) rounded out our top seven. "I am pretty impressed with our runners first race. The pack had a slow start, but came through at the end of the race when it mattered!" stated Coach Schoenfeld.
