Blue Island, IL (October 2, 2012). The girls ran at Eisenhower last night, and added three more wins beating Eisenhower, Shepard, and HillCrest. This brings their overall regular season record to 14-2. What a GREAT accomplishment for this group of hard working athletes. Senior Nicole Maier ran her heart out, running the 3 mile course in 19:38 and finished 2nd overall of over 80 runners. Michele Lewellen (3rd), Stephanie Majewski (6th), Caroline Cyrwus (11th), and Katie Zimmerman (14th) were the Ram scorers, while Angelina Duda (15th) and Jocelyn Acosta (16th) were the pushers for the Rams. It was a great race for the Rams as they sent one final message to the SSC Red Division teams, ten days before the conference meet, which takes place October 13th at Conkey Woods. Coach Schoenfeld comments that "The girls have had such success this season with a 14-2 record. I can't wait for the Conference meet!"
