Girls Cross Country endured the heat and humidty well at the Tinley Park Invite Saturday as they finished 6th overall at the Varstiy level out of 15 teams, while the Frosh/Soph team finished 7th. Being in 90 degree heat the past week did not stop them. Ram Nation should be proud on how they handled themselves. Sophomore Johnna Baniewicz once again took charge finishing 13th place overall. Sophomores Alyssa Froylan and Joclyn Ordonez ran outstanding, while Junior Tera Temko and Senior Mariela Martinez finished up the top 5. Senior Bri Rodriguez and Junior Val Hernandez helped finish out the scorers. In the Frosh/Soph race, Haley Garza led the pack, with Karla Flores, Sandra Marquez, Cami Valdez, Cordy Gulczynski, Anna Tumiel, and Aylin Rojas all helping the team. TIfany Ramirez led the open girls when the temperature was at its maximum. Great job ladies!
