Track Girls News

The Rams did a great job at the Lyons Sectional meet. Many personal bests! Natalia Carrion finished 4th in the discus.

Team finishes 3rd at the Conference meet held at Oak Lawn High School. The team earned the Sportsmanship award AGAIN which is a HUGE honor. All Conference honors goes to Estrella Chavez (junior) in the 3200m run as she finished 1st place.

The regular season ended w a 6-0 record. Here are the recaps:

Burbank, IL The track and field season has begun. Register on 8 to 18. Exciting season is waiting for the Rams. Practice 3:00. Meet at track. First meet is April 20th HOME against Evergreen Park High School. Any questions email lschoenfeld@d220.org .

May 8, 2019. Congrats to Karolina Stachon as she jumped to a first place finish in the high jump and 1st place in the long jump, qualifying her for the IHSA State meet at EIU.

May 2, 2019. Shepard hosted this season's Conference meet where the Rams finished 4th at the Varsity level and 2nd at the Frosh/Soph level. Junior Madison Simpson won the shot put earning her All-Conference honors and Junior Karolina Stachon won the high jump earning her All-Conference honors.

April 25, 2019. The Rams displayed greatness at the Reavis Relays this season. The shot put relay of Jess Rueda, Jersey Panock, and Madison Simpson and the discus relay of Jenna Panock, Jersey Panock, and Madison Simpson both dominated and won.

April 19, 2019. WOW! The Girls Track and Field team finished 2nd place out of 7 teams at the Richards Invite. Top finishers were: Keylin Vallejo finished 2nd in the 200m, Diane Ramirez finished 2nd in the 400m, while Nadia Roberts finished 4th. Johnna Baniewicz finished 2nd in the 800m.
