The girls track team did well at the SSC Indoor meet at Argo Friday night. The team finished 3rd overall out of our SSC Red conference teams. Auset Kheru dominated her events by finishing 1st in the shot put, 1st in the high jump, 1st in the 400m. Karolina Styrczula finished 1st in the 800m.
(March 11, 2017) The Rams finished 5th overall at the 10 team Morton Indoor Invitational. Auset Kheru dominated the high jump, finishing 1st with a 5-0 jump, while finishing 3rd in the shot put. Jenna Rapp finished 4th in the 55m hurdles.
Matt Beach, Tom Esparza, and Noah Wasielewski all threw personal bests at the SSC Indoor Conference Meet with throws of 45' 11", 49' 0', and 45' 3" respectively. Great job Rams! Indoor Championships - Shot Put Tom Esparza - 2nd Matt Beach - 4th
(March 4, 2017) Reavis added an earlyindoor meet at Argo this year to better prepare them for a successful season. The girls faired well against teams who have had 3-4 indoor meets already. Auset Kheru placed in the high jump (5th) and the 400m (4th).
Tryouts for the 2017 Reavis Rams Softball season will be held starting Monday, February 27th. All girls will meet in the North Gym at 3:15pm and be prepared for both indoor (sweats, shirt, gym shoes) and outdoor (sweats, sweatshirts, jacket, spikes, etc.) practice.
Reavis (12-13, 5-7) Richards Reavis was led by Brantrell Seymore (29 points) and Sami Hajjar (16 points) Richards was led by Jaylon Catledge (18 points). Seymore made two free throws with under 30 seconds remaining to seal the game.
Reavis (11-12, 4-6) defeated Oak Lawn 61-58! Reavis was led by Brantrell Seymore (27 points) and Sami Hajjar (14 points). The Rams took a three point lead with 2.6 seconds left with Peter Sedlacek making a free throw.
Reavis (8-12,1-6) defeated Southland Prep 68-38. Reavis was led by Brantrell Seymore (18 points) and Sami Hajjar (18 points) Reavis held the lead the entire game, pulling away in the second half. The Rams will host Eisenhower at 7PM Friday night.
Reavis (7-11, 1-5) fell to St. Laurence 60-44. Reavis was led by Brantrell Seymore (16 points) and Peter Sedlacek (12 points). St. Laurence was led by Justin Wierzgac (18 points). The Rams traveled down 77th street to take on St.
