Reavis Soccer Players Sign with Moraine Valley

Palos Hills, IL (May 27th, 2014)- The Reavis High School soccer program is proud to be sending two of its members to play at Moraine Valley Community College on the women's soccer team this fall.  Alexis Delgado and Alejandra Hernandez were both recruited to play for the Cyclones in the 2014 season.

Alejandra was a 3 year varsity player at Reavis HS.  During her time on the team, Alejandra has made important contributions to the team's success.  She is a composed player that can distribute well from an inside midfield position, and then transition just as well to an outside position to send well-placed crosses.  Alejandra has a passion for the sport, and looks to the next level of competition to grow as a player.

Alexis was a 2 year varsity starter for the Rams.  While she only came into the sport as a sophomore in high school she has more than made up for her inexperience by her sheer determination, and fiercely competitive nature.  She has an instinctual understanding of the game, and an innate ability with the ball at her feet that has amazed players and coaches alike.  Alexis streaks up and down the field the entirety of games, and is very rarely ever substituted.  Alexis's physical play and phenomenal speed make her a dangerous opponent for any player.

On behalf of the Reavis soccer program, athletics, and school as a whole, we wish these two the best of luck as they advance both their playing careers as well as their educational endeavors.  Go Cyclones!
