Burbank, IL (3/19/12) - After suffering two losses to start the season, the Rams were looking forward to their first home and conference game to straighten things out. They were able to do so...in convincing fashion. Reavis rolled over the visiting Hawks from Hillcrest, 22-0. The win moved the Rams to 1-0 in the SSC Red, and improved them to 1-2 overall.
Jamie Harcar (1-0) starred in the circle for the Rams, throwing the complete game while surrendering only 1 hit, striking out 9 and walking no one. On offense, Sabreen Suliman continued her hot start to the season by tagging two doubles, scoring two runs and driving in a total of 5 runs. The lone freshman on the team, Ashley Galason, also had a stellar day at the dish. She scored four runs and drove in three, including a 2-RBI triple.
