Burbank, IL (March 23, 2013) - The Reavis Athletic Department is pleased to announce that senior Jamie Harcar has signed her letter of intent to play softball at Prairie State College next year.
Pioneers head coach Marty Mears is excited with his new recruit. "As impressed as I am about Jamie's softball abilities," he said, "I am more impressed by Jamie's character as a person. I also can't help but be impressed by Jamie's academic achievements as a student." Harcar has been on the honor roll throughout her Reavis career.
Jamie is looking forward to her time at Pririe State and playing softball at the next level. Specifically, she is happy to "meet new people outside of Reavis." As far as attending Prairie State this fall, Jamie said, "It's a lot bigger than I expected."
