Two individuals qualify for the IHSA Sectional meet

Midlothian, IL  (October 25, 2014).  Congrats to senior Yuliana Olivares and sophomore Christine Trovato for qualifying for the IHSA Sectional meet this Saturday. Each finished high enough in the individual marks to qualify as individuals.  Good Luck Runnin' Rams.
Also, congrats goes to the whole team as they were once again voted Most Sportsmanship among the SSC Red Division at the Conference meet. This is the fourth year in a row for this special honor.

GIrls Cross Country finish a strong 2nd place with three All-Conference athletes

Palos Heights, IL  (October 18, 2014).  The girls finished a strong 2nd place at the SSC Red Division Conference meet Saturday at Conkey Woods, missing a conference championship by 4 small points.  Senior Stephanie Majewski was the top Ram finisher with a 4th place finish--which earned Stephanie All-Conference recognition.  Freshman Brianna Rodriguez and senior Yuliana Olivares finished 9th and 10th place respectively, which also earned them All- Conference recognition.  Esmeralda Flores and Christine Trovato were the other Ram scorers, while Laura Monsreal and Isabella Bor

Girls "Catch Up" well at Oak Lawn Invite

Oak Lawn, IL  (October 9, 2014).  The girls did a great job competing at the Oak Lawn Catch Up Invite.  Senior Stephanie Majewski had the best Ram time, while Brianna Rodriguez had the highest place. Weronika Staszel, Christine Trovato, Yuliana Olivares, Isabella Borzecki, and Esmeralda Flores all contributed to the team. In the open race, Monica Gutierrez was the top Ram finisher. Good luck Saturday at Conkey Woods as they compete in the SSC Red Division Conference meet.

Senior night ends in success with a 15-2 record

Burbank, IL  (October 7, 2014).  The seniors were honored at our last home meet last night as we improved our record to 15-2.  We competed hard against Eisenhower and beat both Shepard and Hill Crest.  Senior Stephanie Majewski was our runner again, while Yoyo Olivares, Laura Monsreal, Isabella Borzecki, and Brianna Rodriguez were our Ram scorers.  Weronika Staszel and Jenny Vasquez were the Ram pushers.  Great job to all the Runnin' Rams.  Good Luck Thursday at the Oak Lawn Invite.

Frosh/Soph 3rd at Lisle Invite

Lisle, IL  (October 4, 2014).  The Varsity team finished 13th out of 28 teams and the Frosh/Soph team finished 3rd out of 28 teams Saturday at the Lisle Invite in the cold and rain.  Senior Stephanie Majewski finished 42nd out of 144 runners and led the Rams once again.  Yuliana Olivares, Isabell Borzecki (a.k.a.Homecoming Queen 2014), Laura Monsreal, Weronika Staszel, and Monica Gutierrez all ran well at the Varsity level.  The frosh/soph had a great 1-2-3 pack with Brianna Rodriguez, Esmeralda Flores, and Christine Trovato finishing 18th, 19th, and 20th place respectively

Girls Cross Country pack well to earn more wins

Oak Lawn, IL  (September 30, 2014).  Congrats to the girls who improved their record to 13-1 Tuesday as they beat Richards, TF North, and Oak Forest.  The top Ram runner was Isabella Borzecki, while Esmeralda Flores, Laura Monsreal, Christine Trovato, and Yoyo Olivares all were the scorers.  Karolina Styrczula and Gabby Plewa were the Ram pushers.  Great job packing ladies.  Good luck Saturday at Lisle.

Tinley Park Invite shows Rams that they are tough

Tinley Park, IL  (September 27, 2014).  Senior Stephanie Majewski once again led the Runnin' Rams at the Tinley Park Invite Saturday. The team competed well against rival conference teams. Esmeralda Flores, Isabella Borzecki, Laura Monsreal, Christine Trovato, Brianna Rodriguez, and Weronika Staszel all contributed well for the Rams. Karolina Styrczula was the top frosh soph finisher, as Guadalupe Diaz, Selena Negron, Natalie Moreno, Ashley Alvarado, and Carmen Villarreal all ran well for the Rams.

Girls Cross Country improves record to 10-1 at home

Burbank, IL  (September 24, 2014).  The Runnin' Rams improved their record to 10-1 Tuesday night by beating Argo and Bremen.  Sophomore Esmeralda Flores was the Rams top finisher, as she finished 4th place out of 75 runners.  Yoyo Olivares, Christine Trovato, Karolina Styrczula, and Sara Litland were the other Ram scorers.  Brianna Rodriguez and Kathy Truty were the Ram pushers.  Coach Schoenfeld commented, "Great team effort at home.  The girls were being very coachable and surging like they were supposed to do.  It was cool to watch!"

Argo Invite shines for the All-Senior Varsity squad

Summit, IL  (September 20, 2104).  The Varsity finished 7th overall out of 23 teams Saturday.  The all-senior squad was led by Stephanie Majewski with a 30th overall place.  The other Ram scorers were Isabella Borzecki, Laura Monsreal, Weronika Staszel, and Yoyo Olivares, while Sara Litland and Krystal Vergara were the Ram pushers.  The Frosh/Soph finished 7th overall out of 23 teams also.  Esmeralda Flores was the top finisher with a 23rd place.  The other Ram scorers were Brianna Rodriguez, Christine Trovato, Karolina Styrczula, and Jennah Carlson, while Guadalupe Diaz an

Record improves to 8-1 for the Girls Cross Country Team

Lansing, IL  (September 16, 2014).  The girls fair decent Tuesday in Lansing.  Lemont had a great race and won the meet, but Reavis did beat Tinley Park and TF South.  Stephanie Majewski was our top scorer with a 9th place overall finish.  Isabella Borzecki, Laura Monsreal, Karolina Styrczula, and Christine Trovato were Ram scorers, while Esmeralda Flores were the Ram scorers, Esmeralda Flores and Weronika Staszel were our pushers.   Great job.  This now brings our overall record to 8-1 for the season.  Let’s keep working Rams.
