Alumni join the 50th annual Invitational fun with 1 mile race

Burbank, IL  (September 14, 2014).  The 50th Annual Reavis Cross Country Invitational was a HUGE success this past Saturday.  Not only did the Rams put on a great invite, MANY cross country alumni came out to celebrate with the Rams of the present.  Around twenty former athletes even showed great Ram pride and ran in the one mile alumni race.  Medal winners for the women were Jessica Watychowicz (2009),

50th Annual Reavis Invitational a HUGE success.

Burbank, IL  (September 14, 2014).  The Varsity girls team finished 7th out of 22 teams Saturday at the 50th Annual Reavis Cross Country Invitational. Senior Stephanie Majewski was our top finisher as she finished 38th. Esmeralda Flores (41st), Isabella Borzecki (44th), Christine Trovato (52nd), and Laura Monsreal (53rd) were our other scorers, while Weronika Staszel and Yuliana Olivares were our pushers. The Frosh/Soph team finished 12th out of 22 teams.

Girls Cross Country off and running to a 6-0 start

Burbank, IL  (September 9, 2014).  The girls continue their successful start of their season with a clean sweep against Eisenhower, Queen of Peace, Kennedy, and De La Salle. Senior Stephanie Majewski was once again our top runner. Esmeralda Flores, Isabella Borzecki, Laura Monsreal, Christine Trovato, and Weronika Staszel, and Yoyo Olivares rounded out our top seven. Successful first Invitational at TF South for the Runnin' Rams

Lansing, IL  (September 6, 2014).  The girls cross country team had a great start to Invitational competition with an Varsity 8th place finish out of 22 teams, while the Frosh/Soph finished 11th out of 22 teams.  The Varsity race was led by senior Stephanie Majewski.  The Ram scorers were Isabella Borzecki, Weronika Staszel, Laura Monsreal, and Jenny Vasquez, while the pushers were Sara Litland and Lori Michelsen.  The Frosh/Soph team was led by Jennah Carlson, with the help of Lupe Diaz, Yari Alcantara, Breanna Jones, Nat Moreno, Carmen Villarreal, and Tifany Ramirez.  The

Girls Cross Country season opens with two wins

Palos Heights, IL  (September 2, 2014).  The girls opened up their season with victories over both Oak Lawn and Evergreen Park.  Senior Stephanie Majewski was the overall winner yesterday at Conkey Woods.  Isabella Borzecki, Esmeralda Flores, Christine Trovato, and Laura Monsreal finished up the scoring for the Rams, while Jenny Vasquez and Weronica Staszel rounded out the top seven.  It was a great start to the season!

Girls season ends at Katherine Legge Park

Burr Ridge, IL  (November 2, 2013).  It was a great season for our Running Rams, but it is over for our Running Rams, as they competed well at the IHSA Sectional meet.  Katherine Legge Park was a TOUGH course, full of obstacles and creek jumping.  Michele Lewellen was our top finisher, with Alejandra Hernandez, Stephanie Majewski, Esmeralda Flores, Christine Trovato, Angelina Duda, and Gabby Plewa finishing out the top seven for the Rams.  Great season girls.  Great job to our seniors for your leadership and commitment.

Girls Cross Country qualifies for IHSA Sectional meet

Midlothian, IL  (October 27, 2013).  At the IHSA Regional meet hosted by Marist, the Running Rams qualified the team to the IHSA Sectional meet hosted by Hinsdale South next weekend.  Next weekend's course will be held at Katherine Legge Park in Hinsdale at 11:30.  Michele Lewellen, Christine Trovato, Sabina Bukowska, Angelina Duda, Esmeralda Flores, Stephanie Majewski, and Laura Monsreal all helped the Rams finish 5th overall, which qualifies the team again to the prestigious Sectional meet.  A special shout out goes to Gabby Plewa who competed in the timed run at Regional

Lewellen All-Conference at SSC Red Conference race

Lansing, IL (October 19, 2013). The girls cross country team was once again voted Most Sportsmanship among the SSC Red Division, tor the 4th year in a row. The result of Saturday's SSC Red Division Conference meet though was a little tough to handle, as they only finished 3rd overall for the Varsity level. Yes, Michele Lewellen was All-Conference with a 2nd place finish. And yes, the team had another almost perfect season with breaking the school record yet again. But unfortunately, the nerves from such an intense race might have gotten the best of the RAM runners.

Girls Cross Country team finish 3rd at the Oak Lawn Catch Up Invite

Oak Lawn, IL  (October 10, 2013).  The Runnin' Rams did a great job at the Oak Lawn "Catch Me If You Can" Invite, as the girls finished 3rd out of 10 teams, bringing home their first plaque.  Sabina Bukowska finished 6th, while Michele Lewellen finished 9th overall.  Stphanie Majewski, Gabby Plewa, Caroline Cyrwus, Alejandra Hernandez, and Laura Monsreal all did a great job for the Rams.  And in the open race, senior Angelina DUDA finished 2nd overall out of about 80 runners.

NEW BEST SEASON RECORD of 12-1 was set today by the Runnin' Rams.

Hazel Crest, IL  (October 8, 2013).  The girls had a mission last night--they wanted to beat the previous season best record mark of 15-2.  Mission accomplished!  By beating Shepard, Hill Crest, and Eisenhower, the team officially has earned the new season best record ever mark of 12-1.  What a great team accomplishment!  Michelle Lewellen, Laura Monsreal, Stephanie Majewski, Christine Trovato, and Alejandra Hernandez were the Ram scorers, while Caroline Cyrwus and Sabina Bukowska were the pushers.  Coach Schoenfeld knows that if the girls keep working on their packing, Con
