Lisle Invite successful for Rams--Frosh/Soph team finished THIRD

Lisle, IL  (October 5, 2013).  The Frosh Soph team were beasts Saturday.  The team finished 3rd place out of 24 teams.  Chrisitine Trovato led the way with a 6th place finish.  Jenny Vasquez, Esmeralda Flores, Hazel Andrade, and Jennah Carlson were the scorers, while Angelica Ortiz and Yarit Alcantara finished up for the Rams.  The Varsity team had a tough finish with an 11th place team finish out of 24 teams.  Alejandra Hernandez was the top Ram finisher, while Laura Monsreal, Stephanie Majewski, Gabby Plewa, Isabella Borzecki, Caroline Cyrwus, and Sabina Bukowska powered

At senior meet, Girls Runnin' Rams are 9-1 in conference!!

Burbank, IL  (October 1, 2013).  The Varsity Girls Cross Country team celebrated SENIOR night with a wins against Oak Forest, Richards, and TF North in our last home quad meet.  Reavis competed from the sound of the gun with a score of 20, while Oak Forest had 50, Richards had 68, and TF North had 120.  Senior Michele Lewellen finished first overall on her home course.  Laura Monsreal (3rd), Stephanie Majewski (4th), Alejandra Hernandez (5th), Caroline Cywrus (7th), Gabby Plewa (10th), and Sabina Bukow

GIrls Cross Country battles for the top 7 continues at Tinley Park Invite

Girls Cross Country overcome hilly week and run all over Argo and Bremen

Midlothian, IL  (September 24, 2013).  The girls cross country team once again packed well and out ran their competition Tuesday night at Midlothian Meadows.  They beat Argo and Bremen, and improve their record for the season to 6-1.  Michele Lewellen dominated the terrain and conquered the field.  Alejandra Hernandez, Stephanie Majewski, Laura Monsreal, and Caroline Cyrwus scored for the Rams, while Christine Trovato and Sabina Bukowska rounded out the top seven.  "The Rams have so much depth.  The top 10 has changed in every race they have had this season, which makes us

49th Annual Runnin' Rams Invite a SUCCESS!

Burbank, IL  (September 14, 2013).  The girls ran fantastic at Saturday’s 49th Annual Reavis Invite.  The Varsity finished 9th overall out of 23 teams.  The top Ram finisher was Michele Lewellen who finished 26th.  Stephanie Majewski, Alejandra Hernandez, Laura Monsreal, and Gabby Plewa were also the scorers for the Rams, while Caroline Cyrwus and Sabina Bukowska rounded out the top seven.  The Frosh/Soph team finished an amazing 5th place overall out of 23 teams.  Christine Trovato was the top finisher, as she finished 23rd

Rams have a GREAT showing at the TF South Invite

Runnin' Rams start off season on the right foot.

September 3, 2013 (Burbank, IL). The girls Runnin' Rams opened its season with a double victory against Evergreen Park and Oak Lawn. Reavis had an almost perfect score, as they had a 1-2-3-4-6 finish, scoring 16 points, as Evergreen Park finished 49 and Oak Lawn finished 80. INCREDIBLE. Senior Michele Lewellen finished first overall. Junior Stephanie Majewski finished 2nd, Junior Laura Monsreal finished 3rd, Senior Alejandra Hernandez finished 4th, and Senior Angeline Duda finished 6th. Junior Gabby Plewa and Junior Isabella Borzecki rounded out the top seven for the Rams.

Reavis graduate Jessica Watychowicz is an All-American for NCAA Div II Cross Country

Joplin, Missouri (November 17, 2012).  University of Wisconsin-Parkside runner Jessica Watychowicz, who is a 2009 Reavis graduate, is now officially an All-American athlete.  She qualified for the NCAA Division II national cross country meet in Kenosha, Wisconsin two weeks.  Then she fulfilled her dreams Saturday in Joplin, Missouri as she finished the 6K course in 21:11, finishing 32nd place overall out of 245 runners nationally.  The top 40 runners receive the honor of being All-American.  Coach Schoenfeld did not see Jessica run in person, but commented that it streamed
