A Balanced Offense Earns A Key Victory Over Oak Lawn

The Reavis boys volleyball team defeated the Spartans of Oak Lawn High School on Thursday night, 25-17, 25-18 in Burbank. The win propelled the Rams to 8-0 in conference play and a 20-9-3 record overall. Strong serve receive, relentless defense, and a balanced attack gave the Rams an early advantage in set 1. Moises Zavala and Johnny Moczarny continued their impressive senior seasons by providing excellent ball control which led to efficient hitting. Five Rams had at least four kills and kept the Spartan block in check all night.

Zavala Shines as Reavis Defeats Richards

The Reavis boys volleyball team picked up another important conference victory on Tuesday night in Oak Lawn. The Rams defeated the Bulldogs of Richards High School in straight sets, 26-24, 25-23. Moises Zavala continues to put together an impressive season. The senior setter earned 2 aces, 2 blocks, and distributed 16 assists in the match. The Rams are now 17-9-3 for the season and 5-0 in conference play.

Volleyball Wins in 3 Sets Over Defending Conference Champion

Boys volleyball defeated Oak Forest on Tuesday night in Burbank. The Rams won in three sets over the Bengals, 30-28, 20-25, 25-17. Radek Bryja continued his stellar offensive season by pounding 15 kills and 2 aces. Moises Zavala ran the offense efficiently and added 29 assists and an ace. Daniel Szuba and Laith Almasri held the Bengal attack in check by providing 2 key blocks late in set 3. The Rams are now 2-0 in conference play and 13-5-3 overall.

Boys Volleyball Defeats Eisenhower in 2 Sets

The Rams defeated the Cardinals of Eisenhower High School, 25-20, 25-7. 

David Grecek led the Rams with 8 kills and 3 blocks. Johnny Moczarny controlled the backcourt and provided 11 digs and 12 service points. Moises Zavala distributed the ball efficiently and added 20 assists.

The Rams are currently 11-2-3 on the year and continue their season this Saturday at the Border Battle Invite in Chesterton, Indiana.
