Girls Track perform well at Reavis Relays

Burbank, IL

At the 53rd annual Reavis Relays, the Girls finished 5th overall.  It was a hard fought battle with only 11 points separating 1st place from our 5th place overall team score.  The meet started out great with a FIRST place finish by our 3x100m hurdlers:  Jenna Rapp, Aneta Stoch, and Tara Rojas.  Our throws team did a great job by finishing FIRST place in the discus relay with Aleks Kamienska, Yazmin Urteaga-Rios, and Auset Kheru, while the shot put relay of Yazmin Urteaga-Rios, Aleks Kamienska, and Diana Kubacka finished second overall.  Then the four girls came back and ran to a second place finish in the 4x100 Weightwomean relay.  YAH!  The 3x1600m relay team of Christine Trovato, Esmeralda Flores, and Tifany Ramirez finished an OUTSTANDING second place overall finish.  The sprint relay team of Aneta Stoch, Sylvia Kozielski, Mariah Carmona, and Karolina Styrczula finished SECOND overall as well.  The 4x200m relay team (Jenna Rapp, Auset Kheru, Mariah Carmona, and Sylvia Kozielski) and the long jump relay team (Sylvia Kozielski, Mariah Carmona, and Haylee Bojar) finished fourth overall.  It was a great overall impressive team finish.
