Rams have success at Geneva Invite

Geneva, IL

The Rams did a great job at the Geneva Invite, which is a new invitational for us.  The team finished 4th out of 10 teams.  The highlight of the meet was when Auset Kheru tossed a beautiful discus 123 feet and 8 inches--obviously winning the discus event.  Yaz Rios also finished 3rd in the discus, while Aneta Gal finished 5th.  Great points received in this event.  Auset Kheru also finished 3rd in the shot put.  Freshman Nadia Roberts jumped a personal best 4 feet, 9 inches in the high jump, finishing 3rd place.  Aneta Stoch and Jenna Rapp scored some points in the 300m hurdles by finishing 5th and 6th overall, and then did it again in the 100m hurdles by having Jenna Rapp finish 2nd and Aneta Stoch finish 4th.  Karolina Styrczula finished 5th in the 800m, while Auset Kheru finished 3rd in the 400m.  The 4x800m relay team of Karolina Styrczula, Johnna Baniewicz, Val Hernandez, and Jenn Ramirez finished 5th.  The 4x400m relay team of Thais Cruz, Karolina Styrczula, Johnna Baniewicz, and Auset Kheru finished 4th.  The sun was shining and so did the Rams.  Keep up the good work.
