March 21, 2018. The Varsity Rams took 1st against Romeoville and Argo at Tuesday's meet. The JV squad (which consists of Frosh/Soph) also beat both Romeoville and Argo. The 4x800m relay team of Johnna Baniewicz, Nadia Roberts, Karolina Styrczula, and Jina Patel took 1st and the 4x400m relay team of Karolina Styrczula, Joclyn Ordonez, Jenna Rapp, and Johnna Baniewicz also took 1st. The 3200m run of Carmen Villarreal, Tera Temko, Jenn Ramirez, and Val Hernandez took a 1st to 4th place sweep. The 55m hurdles were also swept with 1st-4th finish from Aneta Stoch, Jenna Rapp, Trine Gomez, and Yasmin Gonzalez. Joclyn Ordonez took 2nd in the 800m. The 400m was swept with a 1st-4th finish from Karolina Styrczula, Nadia Alpuche, Diane Ramirez, and Hillary Aguirre. In the 1600m, Johnna Baniewicz, Tera Temko, and Carmen Villarreal were 2nd-4th. Karolina Stachon took 3rd in the long jump, 2nd in the triple jump, and 2nd in the high jump. Trine Gomez took 4th in the long jump. Nadia Roberts took 1st in the high jump. Aneta Gal took 3rd in the shot put, while Madison Simpson took 4th. In the J/V, Pam Sanchez, Karla Flores, Diana Castro, Shareen Abukhalil, and Nat Ramirez all shined strong. Great job ladies.
