Rams fair well at SSC Red Conference meet

Senior Varsity runner Karolina Styrczula won the 400m run with a personal best time, earning her All Conference honors. Aneta Gal finished 2nd in the shot put. The Frosh Soph team finished an outstanding 2nd place team score with over 135 points earned. There were FOUR SSC Red Frosh Soph record breaking resutls. Sophomore Karolina Stachon broke the triple jump record with a 32-8 jump and the high jump record with a 4-10 jump, winning both of these events. She also won the long jump event. Joclyn Ordonez won the 800m with a record breaking 2:39.35 time. Jersey Panock won the discus with a record breaking 113-6 toss, and also finished 3rd in the shot put. Johnna Baniewicz finished 1st in the 1600m and Pam Sanchez finished 1st in the 3200m. The 4x400m relay team of Nadia Alpuche, Joclyn Ordonrz, Diana Castro, and Johnna Baniewicz finished 1st. Madison Simpson finished 1st in the shot put. Other scorers: Diana Castro finished 3rd in the 400m and 4th in the triple jump, Jina Patel finished 4th in the 800m, Karla Flores finished 3rd in the 3200m, Cordy Gulzynski finished 2nd in the 300m hurdles, and the 4x800m relay team (Joclyn Ordonez, Johnna Banmiewicz, Luz Garcia, Jina Patel) finished 2nd overall. It was a great night of competing. Proud of you Rams.
