The JV wrestling team traveled to Shepard H.S. to compete in their final competition of the season, the South Suburban JV Conference Tournament. Due to injuries and illness the Ram were without two starters but, still managed to place 3rd as a team. The Rams had six individual champions, four of which are freshmen! The Rams swept the first four weight classes. Freshmen Kevin McDonald continued his dominance taking the 100 lbs. weight class, sophomore Cody Dybalski was the champ at 106 lbs., freshmen Rene Sanchez bumped up to 113 lbs. and still took 1st, and junior Mo Sibittan was best at 120 lbs. The Rams were dominate up top as well, freshmen Vince Vertucci 195 lbs. and Jakub Kacki 220 lbs. both earned tough victories in the finals to become conference champions. In addition, sophomore's Mo Abunijmeh and Mo Razek placed 4th. Congratulations on a great conference tournament and fantastic season! The future looks good for the wrestling Rams!
