The varsity and J.V. wrestling team traveled to Niles West this Saturday to compete in their annual Quad. The varsity Rams capped off a great week going 2-1 at the Quad. The Rams started their day with a huge comeback over N.W. 37-30 before falling to Mundeline 45-24. However, the Rams showed great resiliency with another big comeback against Rolling Meadows 38-36. Three match winners included Tino Abarca 106, Moe Sbitan 120, Jesus Vasquez 126, Kyle Galason 132, and Sam Almousa 145. Tino Abarca and Sam Almousa emerged victorious over ranked opponents as well! The Rams are currently (7-3) (3-0) and will look to remain undefeated in conference this Friday when they host Hillcrest & Shepard for Senior Night.
