The varsity wrestling team capped off a great regular season last night by defeating Lemont 40-27, Eisenhower 57-19, and Tinley Park 43-19. In doing so, the Rams finished their dual meet season with an overall record of 19-4 and 12-1 in conference; good enough to win the South Suburban Red Conference Championship! The Rams were tested by all three teams but were led by Kevin McDonald, Moe Sbitan, Jesus Vasquez, Suleiman Qwaisni, Niko Garcia and Jakub Kacki... all six wrestlers were undefeated on the night. Other huge wins came from Rene Sanchez, Sam Almousa, Emilio Miranda, Moe Razek, and Armando Robles. Tonight's wins and the seasons accomplishments were a complete team effort! Congratulations gentlemen! The Rams will compete in the SSC Conference Tournament this Saturday at T.F.S. High School.
