This past Saturday the varsity wrestling team competed in the Chris Chappell Invitational, hosted by Glenbard West. The Rams were not a full strength as they were down two starters, but managed to finish in 4th place overall. Suleiman Qwasini (195) and Jimmy McAuliffe (132) were tournament champions. In addition, Jimmy McAuliffe was named outstanding wrestler of the tournament! Other placers included Kevin McDonald 2nd, Rene Sanchez 2nd, Yazen Almousa (4th), Drew Moscato 2nd, Emilio Miranda 4th, Teddy Piwnicki 4th, & Niko Garcia 4th. The Rams will battle their conference rivals this week when they travel to TFN to take on Oak Lawn, Argo, & TFN.
