The Varsity Wrestling team competed in their annual South Suburban Conference tournament over the weekend. The Rams brought ten wrestlers and placed 6th overall. The Rams again showed great effort and had four individual's earn all conference, with two other placers. Earning All-Conference included Kevin McDonald 2nd (106), Jimmy McAuliffe 2nd (132), Niko Garcia 2nd (220), and Jakub Kacki who reached the top of the podium and was crowned conference champion. Kacki grinded out a tough day, earning two-triple OT wins against quality opponents on the day! Emilo Miranda also turned in a great performance going 3-2 in a very tough weight class. The Rams will rap up their regular season Wednesday against OF & EP.
