Senior Erica Gonzalez is an excellent cheerleader, but she has struggled with twisting from stunts and tumbling. She's been consistently working hard at these skills for the last several seasons, and it's finally paying off. Erica has been twisting out of her single-leg stunts both at practice and during public performances recently, and she started flipping down the wedge without a spot last week, which is just steps away from being able to do it by herself on the floor. Additionally, she has stepped up this year to give guidance and support to younger flyers.
