Fall MVP's

Cheerleading – Lisa Wonogas
According to head coach Jackie Hanik, Lisa has been an invaluable part of the cheerleading program throughout her high school career.  She is a great role model and leader within the program as she always gives 100% and works hard to support and motivate her teammates.
 
Football – Senior linebacker and running back    Pedro Ascencio
Pedro lead the defense with 85 tackles, 1 sack, 1 caused fumble, and 2 recovered fumbles.  He was also a major contributing factor in the offense.  He was the only player to be a two-way starter throughout the entire season.  But, more importantly than his stats, was his ability to lead the team on and off the field.  Pedro has matured into an excellent leader who is very passionate about the sport and the team.
 
Swimming – Senior Angelina Brcic
Angelina, a former Burbank Stingray swimmer, has been on the varsity for four years here at Reavis.  She placed 1stin the 200 individual medley and 2ndin the 100 backstroke at the conference tournament.  She also anchored every freestyle relay this season.
 
Golf – Senior Steve Frencl
Steve is a three-year varsity golfer and two-year sectional qualifier for the Rams.  The best golfer on the team, his three year varsity average for nine holes was just over 42.
 
Volleyball – Senior Sarah Saunders and Senior Amanda Raschke
Sarah has been a three-year starting varsity setter and two-year captain.  She was the most consistent server on the team, recording 88 aces and 113 points.  On the season, the hard-working senior had 402 assists, 62 kills, and 206 digs.
 
Amanda has also been a three-year starter for the Rams.  She led the team in kills with 179 and blocks with 132.  She is the teammate everyone looks up to and the girl that opponents are afraid of.  She was a phenomenal weapon on offense and defense this year.
 
 
Girls’ Cross Country – Karolina Komperda
Karolina has been a varsity runner all four years at Reavis.  The senior captain earned All-Conference each of those four years, finishing 1stin conference as a junior.  She also earned All-Regional this year, placing 3rd.   
 
Boys’ Cross Country – Mike Amashta
Mike was the top runner for the Rams in 2010.  The junior captain has been All-Conference and All-Regional for the past two seasons and recorded his personal best time of 15:44 at the Regional meet this year.
 
Tennis – Seniors Nicole Kowalczyk and Kayla Mangiapane
Nicole and Kayla played doubles all year for the tennis Rams.  They recorded an amazing 24-4 record, won the SSC Red Conference tournament, and beat a tough Chicago Christian team at sectionals 6-0, 6-1 to advance to the IHSA State tournament.
 
Boys’ Soccer –  Pawel Rychtarczyk
Pawel is a four-year varsity player for Reavis.  During that time, he has been a part of nearly 60 wins and has scored more goals than anyone in the history of Reavis.
