Despite the outcome of the basketball games, the night was a success in terms of raising money and awareness toward the fight against cancer.  Hundreds of Reavis fans at the game purchased purple shirts and the proceeds of the sales will be donated to the American Cancer Society.

Many staff and faculty members attended the game as well, as Superintendent Dr. Dan Riordan hosted Staff Family Night.  Families were treated to pizza and ice cream during the basketball games.
