Riverside, IL (December 28, 2010) -
The Reavis Rams (3-9; 1-3) came up short after a great team effort against host Riverside-Brookfield, 59-64, at the Riverside-Brookfield Invite. The Rams stayed with the Bulldogs the entire way and just could not hold on in the final minute. Jenny LoRusso shot 75% from the arc and finished the game with 16 points, 2 rebounds, 3 steals, and 2 assists. Post players Amanda Raschke and Joanna Sochacka finished the game with double-doubles. Raschke had 14 points and 13 rebounds and Sochacka added 13 points and pulled in 10 rebounds.
"The effort was definitely there tonight, we just made big mistakes in the end and came up short. I am proud of the way the girls played and hope they will continue this way" said Coach Miskowicz of the loss.
In other action the Sophomores (8-4; 3-1) beat the RB Bulldogs, 23-37, at the Riverside-Brookfield Invite. While the Frosh (5-5; 2-2) dropped one to Morton at their own invite.
