Riverside, IL (December 29, 2010) - The Reavis Rams (4-9; 1-3) came out on top, 52-49, over the Lane Tech Indians in the third game of the Riverside-Brookfield Invite. The team effort was there tonight as six Rams added to the scoring column. Senior Joanna Sochacka poured in 20 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. Teammate Jenny LoRusso continued her excellent shooting going 3 for 5 from the arc, adding 15 points, 3 steals, and 2 assists.
"We came out very sluggish, but luckily that didn't hurt us too much. After the half the girls came out ready to go and finished the game" said assistant coach Kelly Burzic.
The Reavis Sophomores (9-4; 3-1) continued their winning ways and also beat Lane Tech at the Riverside-Brookfield Invite. Finally, the Frosh (6-5; 2-2) took it to St. Joseph's in their own tournament.
