The Varsity Rams have ended competition, but have been hard at work this first week in July. The Sophomore Rams continued league play at Argo.
Open gyms have started for the Reavis Rams Girls Basketball program. The girls will be meeting every Tuesday and Thursday in July. This week we were without a gym, but that did not stop us from working out. The girls were out in full force in football stadium running up and down the home bleachers. Then they moved inside to the fitness center for several lifts.
The Sophomore Rams took on the Riverside-Brookfield Bulldogs. The game went back and forth and was forced into overtime. "We only had 6 girls and we played tough. I think at the end we ran out of gas, but it was definitely a great effort," said Coach Burzic of the loss. The Rams will finish up the Argo League taking on Oak Lawn in the playoffs.
